The marked accusations
the innocence eyes
the little scars and
the cursed lies-
If it's the way you so subtlety
hide your other face
or if it's the reason why you
only lay everything to waste-
I love to hate you just as much
as I hate to love you
turned inside out to expose your devilish ways
in due time the anger surely pays-
I keep thinking back to when
we where so young and kind of innocent
that was when we mattered most to each other
now we bite nails and grind teeth
never caring if we're forever incomplete.
