It's only a glimpse before she rushes out,
She's late for work, I had held her back.
I wanted my nourishment from her spout,
What I got was silicone till she comes back.
She has got her hands full, two demanding jobs,
She's got me at home, a handful more at school.
But, the way she pushes through these sobs,
Makes it clear, she thinks everything's cool.
She sees me hanging on the window grill,
Like a monkey, chattering, calling still,
Seeing her return, jumping up and down the sill.
Every working mother has her hands full,
Trying to balance both sides without a lull,
Without giving a chance for anyone to mull.
