THE COUNTRY IN CHAOS
Bandits! Bandits! Bandits!
The stories not aligning
But the name all alarming
The North, South, West, East
No Peace in place to even sit
All in Jeopardy like in the pit
To think it sounds like Band aid
But these ones are past showing aid
Rather they put the country in chaos
Making the old and the young feel loss
Fathers leaving mothers, Children leaving Parents running without a pause
Not with Joy but with tears and seeking survival
The Bandits have put the people in Jeopardy without surveillance
Letting the world see the insufficiency of governance
Letting the world see the excesses of leaders who are power drunk
The country is in chaos yet those in the upper class are barely feeling the heat
While the proletariat are there getting the beat
High school students gets abducted
Worshipers being abducted, so safe space
Terrorists acting like they are the new rules
Well, I guess they are as we all are playing by their tune
They are the piper, they call the shot while taking shots and lives of the innocent.
No hate speech they say
Yet no way to pay for committed crimes in office by the corrupt and bad leaders
Not fair, not good, not nice, not pleasant
All adjectives I can think of just to let my bleeding heart cry out like a hungry peasant
I hope we do get it right soon
