I awoke one morning to behold the rain outside,
The clouds seemed to crawl across the sky,
Within me, I felt a slow demise,
Yet the rain concealed my tears.
Each tear seared my pillow;
Whenever you inflicted pain upon me.
There are moments when I feel compelled to ignite the house,
For I have grown weary of your deceit,
I yearn for an embrace that remains elusive.
