It all began in the garden,
In the garden, garden of Eden.
After creation he was always there for them.
Eyes hadn't seen neither had ears heard his plans for them,
And then,
Came the devil who taught he could thwart his plans for them.
Soon the Eldorado created by God became a place of sorrow.
Man was put to shame.
The freedom was gone, he was put in chains.
The dominion was gone, his life never reminded the same.
Confused he became, he was going in same.
As though hit by a train,
His rebellion against the creator has brought him pain.
Yet God felt his pain,
But a debt had to be paid.
No pain, no gain became the game.
I picture Him at the cross.
Left his throne in heaven, wasn't by force.
Upon him was my sin, shame, pain, in gross.
Pierced hands, bruised body, cane strips, all at once.
He bore them all for me, all because of love.
Wounded on every part, his cloth was soaked in blood.
Having stolen the dominion,
The enemy thought he was on top.
He never knew the game was changing;
If he had he wouldn't have made the plot.
He bled, He died,
He rose with victory.
And now I have victory!
No longer in misery.
He shares victory,
as many that believe he gives this victory.
Beauty for ashes,
Smoothness for patches.
Fame for shame
...and now...
No longer a Victim but a victor.
I can now come before his throne of grace,
and obtain mercy without tremor.
Oh!
How Good it feels ,
To be translated into the kingdom of his dear sons.
It's a privilege and an honour,
All you've got to do
Is to accept him as your Lord,
And personal saviour.
