The Crown of Patience

The Crown of Patience
Jealousy whispers, sharp and sly,
Look how far they’ve flown, how high
But patience wears a quiet crown,
It slows the storm, it calms the frown

Desperation knocks both good and cruel,
A teacher, yet a ruthless tool
It tells us Run, yet bids Be still,
A tug of war twixt heart and will

Focus the lantern in the mist,
Guiding where the shadows twist
For time is limited, a fleeting guest,
So find the path that feels the best

How to find the positive flame?
By losing fear, by dropping shame
Jealousy fades where growth begins,
Patience the crown always wins.
