The Dance of Shadows and Light

In life's intricate dance of shades and hues,
Boundaries we draw, hearts we choose to infuse.
Love cloaked in guile, a sinister game,
Yet some souls shine true, untainted by fame.
I once scoffed at tales, deemed them mere lore,
Until betrayal knocked upon my door.
Friends turned foes, an unexpected twist,
Truth unraveling amidst the mist.
Belief shattered, in fables' demise,
Reality's sting, beneath friendship's guise.
But amidst deceit, a few stood tall,
Genuine souls, the truest of all.
Oh, the tales we spin, stories we weave,
Some pure as dawn, some make us grieve.
Bound by deceit, yet hope does survive,
For in genuine hearts, goodness thrives.
Let not shadows dim the light we seek,
In the hearts we hold, sincerity speaks.
May we be the kind, true and real,
That heals the wounds, the hurt to seal.
For good attracts good in its graceful flight,
In this dance of shadows and of light.
