Verse leaps and swirls like a gale of laughter;
Alive, animated, they take flight
Vivid words cascading and splashing after
As harmony and rhythm intertwine.
Letting go of constraints and rules
With a graceful and jubilant flight
Straying ever further with evanescent poise
Atop a zephyr of light.
Serene descriptions vibrating and resounding
Tumbling over the soul like a river
My muse follows the melody that so surrounds
As madness and joy become one.
My spirit is freed from all control
As inspiring and vibrant words take hold
The gloriousness of translation makes me whole
And I feel as if I'm finally home.
