The Dark Side
The Dark Side if you ask me what depression is. I’ll be sure to inform you. It's like sitting all alone from sun up to sundown. Silence all around. No one is there to comfort you. You feel like no one is there for you. You will feel exhausted, lost, and a failing body. Depression is exhausting.
Being tired rises to a whole new level. You lay in bed feeling as exhausted as ever. You try to fall asleep, but it’s not that easy. You lay there, telling yourself to fall asleep, and that sleep is the only cure for depression. You lay in the pure darkness, watching the fan spin around. You can hear the clock sound. Tick, tick, tick. The sound never gets old. You force yourself to go to bed, but depression doesn't allow you to.
Thinking about how to ignore it? It's not that easy. It feels like a train horn keeping you up. It’s finally time. And when you finally fall asleep. It is not long before your alarm clock rings. And when you wake up and you are tired as you can be. Depression is wide awake with you. It tells you, you are worthless and no one likes you, you can't achieve your dreams. It makes you feel looser, and you sometimes, think of doing self-harm, which indirectly makes you vulnerable, and it only increased the level of gloominess.
Depression is like the evilest shadow, seems to pour in like sunlight from every damn crack. It’s simmering under the surface of everything you do, even when denouncing it. When you first feel that, you might be going through depression, the first thought that appears is:-
“What! I’m not depressed. Definitely not.”
“I guess I wouldn’t really describe it as depression. I’m just…tired. I guess.”

You never tried to accept the fact, you ran away from it, thinking that how society will treat you, after knowing that, you are going through depression. Society makes it a taboo topic, you can't speak about it openly, and you can't share it with anyone.
Fighting it all by yourself makes you realised that , no one is there who will ever understand you, its only you who will understand yourself, who will know that what others says doesn’t matter, its your choice, your thoughts, which matters the most. Fighting depression is all in your head and heart. Follow the right choice which will lead you to the right path.
