In the Dark Street
I was all alone
I was tired off
In the waiting shed
Waiting patiently
Some precious time passed
But I walked on foot
I could see nothing
Everything was dark
I was shivering
With cold calm extremities
Being new to that city
I was wondering alone
The street lights went off
I could hear the dogs barking
Ofcourse that feary feelings
But God's sake
I was strong enough
I blowed the fear
Walked away damncare
Indeed a day memorable
Even now and then
When I think of that day
I get shivered anywhere
