I opened my eyes and saw nothing
It was just darkness surrounding me
I hear a voice call my name
But it seemed to lead me further into the dark
I was lost with only the voice calling
What felt unending was the walk
I seem only to get no where
I couldn't see or feel anything
I only knew the darkness
I couldn't find a way out
Lost and alone I listened to the voice
But it only seemed to break me more
What sounded like help was so far away
Despite everything I followed it for days
Never felt closer to it
How I wanted to quit as hope faded away
How it called for me but never wanted me
It wanted to break what was already broken
That voice mocked me endlessly
It just loved me in pain
And I just kept feeding its joy
Constantly losing what I wanted to keep
My hope, will, effort has all grown weak
But I still followed the voice with no end
Wanting to know why I haven't stopped
I just moved in the darken night
It seemed to get colder with every step I took
And only got darker every time I looked
