The Dawn

The sun sets itself ablaze
In the soft moon light
And rises to daze
My eyes after a long night.
"It's beautiful" I'd say,
It's amazing how it creeps over the mountains,
While I kneel by my bed to pray,
And thank God for "living fountains".
The sunrise is beautiful,
Silhouetted against the sky,
With warm fluffy clouds,
Sailing on by.
I'll wonder what it would be like,
If I could fly way up there . . .
But I'm content with down here,
For it is where I can help others and show care.
The sunset is breathtaking,
Forcing my mind to wander
To places of wonder making,
Where reality goes asunder . . .
Take time to look at little things,
For it's not in money that blessings come,
Or all the trinkets of this world,
But it is from nature we get blessings from.
