It never rained. The wind, an echo of the
shadow of death and mercy,
lingered at night. There were stars in the sky.
we error in prayer in hope of rain.
We error. We error. We stride
across glass sidewalk that at are bare
and stained in dry sea salt. Dream of us,
rain, dream of d red wines hollow
and no more will the hunger
but rather slick with death thought,
as with life of crystal ice we tree or that
will fall from the sky. This is our prayer,
all that hungers we I'll be fed.
All that thirst shall be quenched. We
dehydrate. We dehydrate. Feed us
and drink us. Let the rain darkness
of clouds suspend our city in lightening
and then tear open vcd the sky
so that the earth on that we stand may be
alive, always, with always let it rain.
