the storms came from the east
but no destruction caused
heavily did they carry the sand
swinging them like a
linked mechanism
leaving a traced path
to the west they went
but vast and empty it seems
so had it nothing to carry away
corroding the sand
somewhere it dumped
mighty was the storm but nothing
it carried away
