In karmic chains, I'm bound to thee, A civet's scent, my jealousy.
I loathe the touch of others
near,
Yet crave thy presence, far and clear.
I lie awake, with hopes undone, That thou art with a better one.
For I was Beelzebub, the fiend,
Who made thee weep, with tears that streamed.
No regrets I hold, for that dark deed, For in thy pain, my soul did feed.
As thou didst dance,
alone in rain,
A radiant smile, did ease my pain.
But when thou passed, without a glance, My heart did spasm, in a trance.
The angel slain, the
beast awoke,
Thy tears of sorrow, my music's choke.
In devilish dominance, I held thee near, In memories danced, my heart did cheer. A fleeting
pleasure, it did seem, Before the orb did intervene.
Now as a beast, I walk alone, Bereft of thee, my heart of stone.
The karmic cycle, ever spun,
A
punishment for sins I've done.
So let me wear this civet's guise, As penance for my wicked eyes.
And may thy laughter fill the
air,
As I forever, despair.
