I knew it.
it killed her.
her voice choking.
her heart splitting in two as if she was already dead.
those blue eyes they haunt me.
her voice tore me skin from bone.
her gasp.
her sigh.
and there was silence.
her fists at her side clenched to make her palms bleed.
yet she didn't know whether to kiss me frantically or just leave.
yet the love it was still there.
lingering like a ghost.
yet she looked at me.
no disdain.
just warmth.
a fire burning in her eyes.
as I stood there.
melting with passion.
praying she wouldn't forget me.
knowing the love I felt was more like pity.
yet I loved.
just to have her.
once more in my arms.
one more night in my bed.
yet porcelain was the only thing I seen in my dreams.
knowing I only wanted you in my dream.
just to not wake up.
those blue eyes.
look almost dead.
as the guilt swallows me.
yet I was always yours.
yet nothing else remains.
