The Divine Walked The Earth

I wandered, the earth, alone like quails,
A lifey soul on life's scared trails,
shadows confined, on the earthly bliss,
Oblivious to all the wonders I'd miss,
Then you appeared, a dazzling flame,
And heaven quivered before your very name,
O how I long, for another solitary sigh,
For the days when stars adorned the sky,
The light, voided, the whispers fade,
And yet love's bitter sorrow won’t be swayed,
You made time anxious, its heartbeat flies,
Still, not a single cherished glance,
With a man wanting closure, a glimpse at those heavenly eyes,
