The Doctrine of Truth...

HOLINESS REVIVAL MOVEMENT WORLDWIDE
DAILY DEVOTIONAL: EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY PASTOR PAUL RIKA
Intl Director, HOREMOW
DATE: Friday May 22
TOPIC: DOCTRINES OF TRUTH DO WORK OUT RIGHTEOUSNESS
Text: Matthew 10: 32-42
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
Key verse: Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
A man sent a text to me, accusing Holiness Revival Movement of evil doing because his second wife has separated from him. I said, “Bless God! Doctrine of truth is working somewhere. I am receiving proper report now!” That is the other side of the coin. When you see accusations, do not be moved or carried away and believe the people without investigating it. Is it not the Bible that tells us that there are two sides to a matter? The word of God is a double-edged sword. Is it not Jesus that said there shall be trial, temptation, petition, complain, even with Jesus Himself. Is a servant greater than his Master?
We are servants to Jesus doing the same work in Holiness Movement and we do cause the same pain to men, through the gospel truth we preach. So, it is normal to be hated by people. A man has been married to his wife but that is his second wife. You say, “Woman, you are a second wife and you cannot make it to heaven. If you really love that man, then leave his house.” The woman’s eyes opened and she says, “Oh! I am leaving the wrong marriage right away!” The husband says, “No, you cannot leave me. Who told you this?” The woman says, “Since I came to HOREMOW my eyes opened to biblical truth. Thank God I had not died and gone to hell.” Will the man be writing letter of appreciation to HOREMOW?
The man may even report HOREMOW to the government saying, “What are you doing? HOREMOW has come into the country and they are separating husband and wives! They are making second and third wives to leave their husbands. What are you doing about it? People are losing their wives!” There are people that were using earrings, painting their bodies, wearing trousers and using things that are worldly but have now repented and renounced them. Their husbands are protesting and saying that they love their wives to use them.
Yet in those days, some women with Jezebelic dressing, paintings, trousers and all other worldly dressing, carried their Bibles and went out for evangelism to preach Jesus. Maybe some serious Holiness Movement members or born again, sanctified and Spirit-filled filled Christians saw them and perceived that this one preaching Jesus needs help for what they are wearing will hinder them from going to heaven. It is our duty to preach to such Jezebelic preachers as led by the Spirit, whether they like it or not.
