The dream

Is it weird to use violence to achieve what couldn't be accomplished otherwise?
That is, at least what we find abhorrent is it not?
Although the scenery isn't one wishes to display, it does serve a means to an end,
Towards any conflict or strife,
It seeks to solve by elimination,
That is how you overcome obstacles after all,
For most of us a promise to protect is a will far stronger than any sharp blade,
But to wield it like a sword, a will so pure that it illuminates the shadows around,
We are willing as we are able,
But this doesn't apply the same for one with a dream even greater than himself,
Something so precious, so divine,
Something that drives you to go far beyond what man can only fathom,
Those who have a true dream,
A dream so bright it conquers your fear to reach it,
To feel this dream, embracing it's roots,
Captivated by it's sound,
Mesmerized by it's shape,
Attracted to it's mystery,
Even if forsaken, even if betrayed,
The embers never truly dim out,
Each should get to know these things which fuel the soul beyond what it knows,
To achieve a victory unlike any accomplishment given therefore,
It's absurd to give meaning to your existence to anyone but your own reason for living,
I hope I didn't bore you too much...
