like they always say,
but you’re never prepared
for how the ending plays,
you acted so perfect
like light in my life,
who knew you’d be cruel
like an angel with a knife,
you acted so sweet
so graceful, so pure,
but deep down underneath
you’re a gentleman with a curse,
you became secretive
i wish i’d said something sooner,
you became elusive
i just wanted to be closer,
i chose to express my worry
you called me pathetic,
i stayed calm and collected
i chose to be apologetic,
the chapter was short
filled with memories,
i still love you
but now it’s the end..
