Once mighty and feared, the lion roamed,
His kingdom was vast, and his power known,
But now the end has come at last,
His rule is over, his time has passed.
The savanna echoes with his roar,
But soon that sound will be no more,
For hunters came, with guns and greed,
And brought the lion to his knees.
No longer will he rule the land,
No longer will he make his stand,
The end of his kingdom is at hand,
The king of the jungle, mighty and proud,
His roar was heard for miles around,
But now he lays still, his eyes forever closed,
The death of the lion, a tragedy imposed.
His mane once flowed like the grass in the breeze,
But now it's matted, stained with blood,
His once powerful legs now motionless and still,
The death of the lion, a void that none can fill.
He was a symbol of strength, courage, and might,
A fierce predator, always ready to fight.
But now he's gone.
The death of the lion, a loss we can't avoid.
Though he may be gone, his memory will remain,
We'll remember his power, his grace, and his reign.
he's no longer with us, but we'll continue to strive,
To protect and preserve the creatures that thrive.
For though his kingdom may be gone,
His legacy will carry on.
