When will people see
That he only cares about himself,
His family, and his selfish goals?
Never us, never the people.
When will people see
The gruesome reality we will face,
The horrendous decision of the "majority",
and the frightening future of our country?
When will people hear
The painful cries of the poor, the marginalized, the oppressed,
The victims of a brutal regime,
And the sufferings of those who sacrifice their life for justice?
When will people hear
The horrifying story of the person they call "Hero", and
The white-washed past of the son of a criminal, a murderer, manipulator, and a thief
Who claims will make our lives "better"?
We asked,
"How come?"
How come someone from a village of madman, help us?
We asked,
"What can he do for us?"
What can someone rooted in the evil bring good to others?
When will people learn
The importance of the past?
And that the books are not our enemies,
but those who want to manipulate it.
When will people learn
That we are doomed to repeat history?
And that the activists are not the enemy,
but your ally in fighting a disgusting dynasty.
