THE FEATHER FATHER FIGURE

Friend,
Who truly needs that father
Who happily left your mother
Just for another, to love ?
Best for neither to have!
Tell me…
Please,
Will you endeavor
To look up to that father
Who won’t ever, ever
Look after you either
No longer does he care for your mother
But beastly blindly unfaithfully to another
Selfishly, shamelessly simply flew ? Bother!
Now, will you?
Tell me please,
Who truly wants that father
Just so-so in title and name on paper
Who, ever absent absconds duty to care.
Who, that he is still by virtue father is really so unfair
Now, friend, tell me.
Friend,
Why single-handedly should a mother
Hopelessly strive to survive –
Whilst shamelessly still does breathe, a father,
Eat, drink, laugh and live?
A father schmifather, a father not worth a feather
The honor and title scarcely does he a propos deserve
When he jilts, juggles or joins another after another
‘Till out of breath finally — death has got the nerve!

What else on earth shall we suffer to name thee
Such a feather father figure is just an insect, a bee
That darts from flower to flower so busy
For nectar pollinating, pollinating dutifully?
