Within the cave, He stood before a Beast,
A Monster given birth to the world of men,
A Monster This man Had to Slay
to atone for a Sin.
A Sin though born from Madness of a seed planted by Hera,
by his hands he Took of his wife her life,
And his Sons they the same,
With his hands he Destroyed them,
for they appeared as Demons,
As his mind Recovered,
The blood upon his hands revealed the truth.
The truth that nearly Ruined him forever.
Before Apollo, he came forth,
it was guidance that he seeks
Though Godly in strength he was now Meek,
from the Mouth of the god Apollo,
it was twelve years the Now broken man must serve,
Twelve years to a King who sent him on labours,
labours Beyond any man,
Labours Beyond Mortal Hand,
but this man Humbly took a stand,
And humbly agreed to perform,
These Labours that were More Chaotic than any storm.
And that is what brings us here...
within a cave,
A territory No one would enter not even the Solid brave,
for this is the Domain of a Beast who feeds on Man,
And The man before it's Presence is armed with merely a club and a bow...Not really a plan.
The domain of the Monster who's pelt knows no harm,
surely to even the foolish that would sound an Alarm.
It stepped over the Rock,
with fierce Eyes,
Any Warriors Legs would lock,
A roar of thunder it unleashed,
And the Man Fires his arrow,
to no avail, it Fails,
The beast roars again and leaps towards it adversary,
The man Rushes in for the kill,
they both engage like Titans on a mountain hill.
A wrestling match Beyond words!
The Club was freed upon the Beast's skull,
Though to no effect,
it was simply a Tap,
The Creature continued to scrap,
despite the man's Godly might
but this was no time to succumb to fright.
it was a clash of strength,
And with bare hands and vast muscles,
the beast was grappled by the neck,
In place it's Giant frame was held in check,
Power was applied,
and without choice, the Monster had to abide,
after a Vicious strangle,
The creature No longer...Defied.
It's Terror was ended
and it's pelt and claws were used,
Nothing of the kill would be abused,
now you think this was It?
Surely no...this was only the beginning,
to series of trials,
Now take this journey with The Slayer of this beast,
and you will witness a Broken man...Become a Legend.
