The Flight To Valhalla.

When death visited,
It was a dark night,
And the rendezvous was that rickety hospital bed.
The starry night gazed into the deep,
Nothingness glared like a schism.
The soul, aboard a roller coaster,
Through the fluffy clouds,
Trudged,
And lumbered across the Milky Way,
Heart throbs,
Sauntering in weak pulsations,
Akin to a broken hose.
A luggage of my sins,
Tray'd in heavy packages,
Of my sodden state,
At an alarming rate,
Betwixt a pole of saints,
I was Saint Paul,
And the foreboding cast wall of my sins,
I trudged through the Avenues of Sin City,
Where vile is sanctified,
And I bore witness to this fall,
As Valhalla welcomes me,
To a place where He settles the score.
