The flower girl...

The flower girl pranched along the unmetalled road,
That ran through the heart of the green woods..
The road was mucky,
And vermillion blossoms lay strewn,
A bamboo basket she carried in her fair hands,
An ochre fedora on her head..
The breeze played with her chestnut brown hair
As a wisp of it disturbed her eyelids..
Her anklets chimed
And she walked on..
Encompassed by her psychedelic butterfly comrades,
Then she reached the shrubs of wild flowers,
And crooned as she plucked the blossoms of variegated shades-
Amber,coral,scarlet,purple,blue..
Garnering an abundance of flowers,
She felt a familiar redolance coasting across the air-
Of her blossoms so dear....
