Take me to the green to my brown
I'll walk through our eyes like the forest ground
My hand will graze the trees, and the grass will be soft under my bare feet
I'll spin with my head towards the sky
The green leaves will blend in with the brown bark as I fly
It's a swirl of colour as I fall
Your iris a cushion for my head
And I spread my arms as our petals fall
And when Autumn comes,
Your eyes will die
While my brown is left standing,
Forced to watch your green frail and cry
I'll sit there lonely
Cold and detached
A white blanket will cover me slowly
And then I'll feel the need to hope for collapse
