The Forgotten Ink
Once, you made men dream in ages past,
The burdens on your back are deep and vast.
You are the writing time forgot,
Yet every soul you’ve touched remembers what you brought.
The whisper of your words enchants the air,
Each letter weaves a beauty rare.
Forgotten ink — that’s what they call your name,
I’ll search for you till through my veins you flame.
So my words may never fade in vain,
You flow from earth’s eternal vein.
You made immortal our forefathers’ lore,
And when this world shall be no more,
With you alone, my pen will soar.
