It was the mid of march,
On a bright sunny day.
They came like a storm
And took her away.
She laid on my lap,
Singing her favourite summer song,
Next moment she was gone,
Leaving no remains all along.
I yelled her name,
As they took her from my sight.
But little could i do,
They were in hundreds, i was never into the fight.
I wept in agony,
As they hit her till she died.
I wanted to run to her but
Boy, they struck me on my head and i was even tied.
She cried and called her demiruge,
While they killed her holding all their calm,
They yelled "your allah won't help you here,
It is the area of our lord ram"
I laid on my ground, helpless
as i watched her close her eyes,
I begged, I pleaded
But not one god did answer my cries.
God, that was the day
I began losing all my faith.
You will remain the one who killed her,
No matter how much they call you great.
