God is the greatest artist.
He moulded the earth which was without form,
Brought living entities from the void.
He positioned the waters at the right level,
far below the reach of heavens.
With his brush;
He drew borders that separated-
The clouds from the ocean
and painted the sky many shades,
According to the climate.
He gave the sun the brightest light,
And placed the moon to the side of the night
He poked the skies with tiny silver, golden dots and called them stars.
He sprinkled waters on his portrait,
And it rained on the earth.
He coated the parrot with many colors,
Looked upon the leopard and painted her spotted, stripped the zebra and made the bear pure,
He nitted royal apparel from the wildest flowers
Yet he was not finished.
He molded his finest vase from the miry clay,
This work reflected so much beauty, that God called it His image.
