The hard road taken

Eternal bliss I always strive for

Never reaching the goal

Always room for improvement

Always room for change

Learning from mistakes and failures

Grace and wisdom I desire

But I constantly fall short

Always looking on the bright side

Often looking up to the sky

My experiences have softened me

They say the grass is greener on the other side

"Your grass is brown!" they keep on saying

"A few rough patches to work out

is all that's needed." I reply
