The Heavy Seas

The heavy seas, they toss and roll,
Their power, a sight to behold,
The waves crash upon the shore,
A never-ending, rhythmic roar.
The ships out at sea, they sway,
In the tumultuous waves all day,
Their crew braving winds and rains,
Enduring the ocean's mighty pains.
The heavy seas, they cannot tame,
Their strength, an unrelenting flame,
For they are a force of nature,
A beauty and a danger to savour.
And though they may seem harsh and wild,
Their power is tempered, undefiled,
For in their depths, strange creatures dwell,
Life thriving in their watery spell.
So let us marvel at the heavy seas,
And ponder the mysteries they release,
For they are a reminder, if nothing more,
Of nature's might and its endless lore.
