The holy month of Ramadan is here
A month of love and compassion we should share
The month with thirty or twenty-nine days of fasting
During the day we are to forgo drinking and feasting
The goal is to abstain from doing evil
Hellfire will be closed and Allah will chain the devil
A month of reading the Qur'an and plenty of supplication
Always be on physical and spiritual purification
A month of less sleeping and more praying
Stay off from lying and backbiting
The month of unity, love, and peace
Tawbah to Allah we should increase
A month anticipated by many and seen by few
Words of indecent and course we must not spew
A month we should spray love in every corner
On the oneness of Allah, we should ponder
The month to cleanse our hearts and souls
The month we should wake up to eat before cock crows
Our intention should be to worship Allah
And we must always pray our five daily salah.
