Mount Hira cave so deep
its' secret solenmly it keep
hidded on jabal a Nour steep
a man stood in the cave and weep
save humanity to His Almighty he tip
from the seventh heavens the angel drip
and to his throut was a grip
read the words from your Lord the angel speak
Nay read nor write he weep

He was generous and never mean
a trader trusted from mecca to madin
today engulfed in sweat and shiver to his chin
the word iqra brought him to wean

His friend Jibril visit to teach
Allah made it light for Him to reach
and attain the whole Quran in writing and speech
but today we fell to worldly and Quran we ditch
Its time we embrace Quran and to Allah we speak
