If you walk down the street in the places I've been
You wouldn't believe what goes one now and then
I never really understood homelessness until I seen it
Men and women who had no place to go
Laying on blankets under bridges below
You see fires and camps I couldn't believe
This was just unbelievable to me
Then there was women they hang out places looking for a way
To make a buck to get through the next day
There were guys standing in corners flying a sign
Said homeless work for a dime
This was something I never seen before
Wait I'm not done there alot more
They people getting arrested over drugs and other stuff you know
The jails were full so they book you then let you go
Get this they even had live PD you might even see
You silly ass get arrested so watch TV
Last thing I'll say is never again I promise you
Will I got back there it the one thing I'll never do
