It is raining to the tune of Mallar
sometimes loadshedding
comes with a flash.
You leave unreasonable complexity
and fill your mind.
.
For you, leisure means
leaving one job &
going to another.
To me, solitude means
spending sometime
with sun and clouds.
.
I have a secret locker
deep in my mind.
Sometimes there is no key.
I get this key
on a rainy or moonlit night
or walking near a hill-
I can look for a while ,
the jewel of my dream & happiness.

When Mallar of rain falls
Jasmine-champa-hashnuhana
bloom in the mind.

[ N.B-
1. Mallar or Megh Mallar is a Hindustani
classical Raga. This name derives from the Sanskrit word Megh, meaning cloud.
Legends say that this Raga has the power to bring out rains in the area where it is sung.
2. Jasmine, Champa & Hashnuhana are beautiful & scented flowers found in Bengal. There are several Bengali myth
of these flowers. ]
