The Labour Experience

Drowsy, I arise
Glimmering melon set skies
Today, we were laboured into an oven
Listened to the unstoppable radio machine
We toil tirelessly to the whites, our fathers
Sweat rife my skin
They stream down the body
Slog away for pittance
The worker complains of tiredness
It gingers our father to work hard on us
I sat down a minute, booked as absence
I bow down my head
Regretfully, I wonder
Royalty were servants
Calmthugs, fathers restricts us freedom
My own brother cheated me without sympathy
We goes night and away
Drain stomach, we walk for the next day
Up and down, hop and jump,
A new day to be experienced
Good morning rhythm fills the air
Birds sing to the aroma of the street waakye
seller meal
Reminiscence the thought yesterday
I licked spherical oil lining in the bowl
With assurance and pride, they had a tower
Of strength
From home back to there
They all show love and care
