You didn't see me staring at you from a far.
I was the woman all dressed up in red, sitting at the end of the bar.
You seemed so distant, so I ordered you a drink.
I got a " thank you " from the bartender along with that a wink.
I have no idea what he had said to you, so I laughed along with him.
Then you looked my way with that beautiful grin.
That night I met the man of my dreams.
By ordering you a drink, a handsome man walked in and then you weren't what you seemed.
I got a closer look at you, and your nothing I would of ever bragged about.
A drink was sent to me, I smiled without a doubt.
The man dressed up all in black had the eyes of an angel indeed.
When our eyes met, heaven scent is what I believed.
Never would I think a man like him could love someone like me.
Years have passed, and now I am carrying his baby.
We walked down the aisle with three.
Our baby, him, and me.
All because I bought a drink for stone cold.
Now the man in black and I will together grow old.
Sometimes, you will never know where your true love lies.
