He held the rose til the last petals fell
Letting go meant there was a new story to tell.
He couldn't lose her forever
He promised her they eternally will be together.
Once he could admit it to himself
That's when he will stop lingering in doubt.
He is scared because once he finally let's go.
His answers he will finally know.
He knows that she has passed away
But suffers in silence every day.
As each petal fell to the ground
A new journey has been found.
Even though he can never have her in his arms, he still carries her in his heart.
A world he promised her was torn apart.
Some day when it's his turn to go, they will meet again.
Up in heaven...
Where there they will always be friends.
