The tree is a life beside-
Our life, whose every leaf varies;
In colour, in softness, in height.
In happiness,
In despair-
When the leaves get damaged by the bees in hive,
By pests of leaves;
By foes of trees-
Every ‘leaf’ is ‘everyday’ in life.
But in wintry days of frost and snow-
When the whispering cool winds blow,
The leaves get shaken off and about-
Leaving no more than one or two of that crowd.
Then the birds will sit on its branches,
And will sweetly sing-
Will wash off the tears of the tree,
By using their soft wing.
Among the happiness of the bright spring-
The rainbow falls upon the rejuvenated tree;
Like golden water falls upon a dried off sea.
In scarcity, in excess-
Oneday, will vanish the leaves,
Many achieve less,
Many a win-
But the last ‘leaf’ will always be ‘green.’
