With crescent rainbows
in the morning
Dew shines like diamonds
in the new forest
Tall, slender trees
shadow the path
strung with flowers
No one disturbs the
Solemn silence
just buzzing bees
and birds a-flying
Epics of old are told
in the small clearing
Deep and narrow in
the sunsets reddish
fingers that precede
the stars on the black
velvet of the night
Tachyons are firing
underground at speeds
faster than of light
And nature's particles
are born and exit
in less time than the
blinking of an eye
Nature endeavours to renew the skin of this lonely planet, fought step by step by the destructive power that
Man has wrought
A frigid sunset by night
A desolate sunrise by day
This floating rock in space
bared of all life is what
is left of Gaia
The legacy of Man.
