Since you have been gone
Life has felt so wrong.
I stare at your picture hoping to hear your voice.
Or any kind of noise.
But all I hear is silence.
I'm.lost in your absence.
I miss your beautiful smile and your eyes that light up your face.
I miss your hugs and your warm embrace.
I miss our mother- daughter talks
I miss those long peaceful walks.
I miss hearing you complain
But what I don't miss is watching you in pain.
Dear Mom..
I know that I have rambled on so long.
That's because I'm not so strong.
My weakness is losing you
The words I whisper is my truth.
Life just don't seem the same anymore.
9 months have passed and I still miss you for sure.
Sometimes I think it's just a bad dream and you'll be walking through that door.
But reality is I won't be seeing you anymore.
