In the eyes of a writer
A rose that withered
is a flower waiting so long to be watered
A two different pathways
is a time for parting ways
A person that has gone
is a chance to see a brighter sun
In the mind of a writer
Every obstacle
is a place to tackle
Every pain
is a gain
Every broken key
is a new opportunity
Every turning of table
is a chance to resemble
In the heart of a writer
Everything that'll happen
is a story to be written
Every goodbye
is merely a lesson that came by
Every hello
is a book to know
Every missing piece
is given away to those who have least
Every heartbreak
is a chance to take
Every person
is valuable for a reason
In the hands of a writer
I give all that I can offer
I reach out even if it'll make me a risk taker
It's something I don't have to regret later
Instead, I believe it'll make me a better
In my hand is a pencil and eraser
I write things that matter
Behind every writer's eyes
were hidden, unseen, and unheard cries
caused by hurtful lies
said and done by people they used to prioritize
But now they learned and realized.
Do you see how it made me nice and wise?
I knew it takes a bunch of tries
to smile after hearing painful goodbyes
Behind every writer's mind
are words that are one of a kind
Written to make someone's life put to bind
This writer kept her past in rewind
to understand, learn more, and unwind
she knew there was more to find
someone who is kind
who wouldn't leave their promises hanging behind
someone who isn't blind
and wouldn't have her offered friendship declined
Behind every writer's hand
is someone willing to understand
someone to lend a helping hand
so after you'll fall you'll be able to stand
to lead you into a peaceful land
to always hold unto you and
together you'll sing along with the band
Behind every writings on my paper
there's an unknown composer
been once, twice, always a learner
now a growing teacher
Been a loner
and a one-way giver
Been a riak taker
now a great adviser
Been an honest faithful lover
searching for a real forever
Been a failure
yet never gave a room for regret, not ever
Many had left and hurt her
but they only made her stronger
Behind every pages that unfold
were stories that are left untold
In the notebooks she hold
her pure words as precious as gold
remained invisible in people's eyes that rolled
But someday truths would be told
Behind every pencil and eraser
holds the hidden words of real power
You may not hear her
but whatever,
it's the life of a writer!
