love, they say is an emotion,
a strong affection,
But is the love of God an emotion? is it a strong affection? the strong affection of God towards humanity?
Or is the love of God a person? A person who runs after you like a love sick puppy,
A person you now love for he loved you first
A person you now know for he knew you first.
Or is the love of God a lifeguard?
who pulls you out of the deepest deep,
who like a life jacket won't let you sink.
Or is the love of God a watchman?
A watchman with insomnia who never blinks, with eyes piercing fixated on you like an ow.
Or is the love of God a shield?
which secures you like an inflatable hug.
This love is indescribable,
Its second to none,
It transcends knowledge.
IT IS THE LOVE OF GOD.
