The memory of those little faces
In the eyes of those little faces,
Determination shines bright,
Grandchild, nieces, nephews,
Always glowing with delight.
Little feet carrying them,
Along the path they tread,
Searching for attention,
From the moment they awake till bed.
Learning daily, following close,
Watching mom and dad with glee,
Little voices starting to speak,
Sounds funny as can be.
Energetic and full of life,
They never cease to amaze,
With determination in their hearts,
They'll conquer all their days.
