The mystery plant

Over the summer it grew
A plant from the unknown
Unaware and nobody knew
But steadily it had grown

The mystery plant is ready
To harvest it's bounty
The process is lengthy
After we can bake brownies

A tedious task it is
To clean a plant
It should be a wiz
But it doesn't go as planned

The branches are many
Trimming and cutting
The piles are plenty
When they're budding

It seems to never end
One after another
Maybe call a friend
He too can be a cutter

Hours upon hours
Stems and stocks here
So many of these flowers
Help!! It won't stop I fear
