The night is my place to escape,
A time I can retreat away from it all,
Giving myself that chance to think deeper,
And make all the big things seems small,
The night speaks to me in it's silence,
Energized by the light of the shining moon,
My problems in life can be chaotic,
But within the night they eventually attune
Just me, the stars, and the changing moon,
I find harmony from full moon to new,
This is a little of what the night means to me,
I wonder what the night might mean to you.
