The night you said goodbye,
The stars were in the sky, shining brightly, like memories of times we said we'd never leave.
The moon was full and round, casting shadows on the ground, as we stood there face to face, trying to hold on to grace.
The silence was so loud.
As we said our last goodbye, I wished that time could freeze so we could have one more try.
But fate had other plans, and we had to let it go.
The night you said goodbye was the hardest thing I'll ever know.
