The Notebook used to be my favorite movie.
I used to dream of nights where I would hold you and we'd laugh.
I used to dream of building you houses while we built a life.
I always loved a good comeback story. One where we realize we chose the right path a long time ago.
I still dream of talking to you about my problems and you listening without aggravation. I still dream of a life where my voice doesn't annoy you.
I still love The Notebook, I just realized that is not a life that is meant for me and for that I want to kick Nicholas Sparks in the knees for getting my hopes up.
