The one I love, as I set eyes on her all those years ago, instantly filled with passion, the one I lost just those few years ago. I loved her with all my heart, I had her in my arms to hold, the passion so fiercely burning in my soul she was the one for me. I lost her so suddenly, how could I be such a fool.
She was my world, the one I saw myself with for eternity through hell or high water we were to persevere through all, my insecurities overwhelming me as I let it get the best of me, my weaknesses beating me down, the darkness overcoming me, how could I allow myself to fall so far, she is the one I love. I held her in my arms as I kept feeling her slip away, how could I allow myself to let go, she is the one I love. The darkest of times, it's hard to see straight now, I feel her slipping away, but she's the one I love. I can barely hold on, the pain, the darkness overcoming me, I can't find my way home to her as I struggle for breath, I must find the light because she is the one I love.
The darkest of times, there is no light, why can't I find myself in the cold darkness, she is the one I love, I must find my way to her! I was weak, how could I allow myself to be beat, I have given up and now she is the one I lost through this darkness, no light to be found as I huddle down in this hole, now alone because she is the one I lost.
As I stand back up, I scream and cry, I won't let this beat me! I now see the light, I will fight this darkness, it will not overcome me! I fight every day to make it back to the one I love, I will not let this beat me! I feel the fire in my soul, the passion back in my heart like a jumpstart to the life I lost. Crawling towards the light I stand upright and fight, I feel the passion, the man I was, now the man I am ready to fight as I start to run, I see the light! The One I Love, I'm here as I step back into the light I look but the one I love is now the one I lost.
